About Last Knife

My husband and I stayed at the Arlo on 1/28/25 for my birthday and decided to do ALK for dinner because of the convenience of it being in the hotel and so close to the James Nederlander Theater. We had seen some not so great reviews but decided to try it anyways. It was a 10/10! We had a reservation and we're immediately seated by Adrian who was also our server. We were in and out within an hour and service was incredible. I got the steak frites and a cocktail off the lucky hour menu - blackberry mule. My hhsband tried the sliders and fries. Everything was delicious. It was my birthday so they gave me a complimentary dessert. I tried the cherry cheesecake which was phenomenal. Definitely recommend coming here!

This place was great! It has an awesome location. Right on Michigan avenue. It's the restaurant to the Hotel Julian. Our bartender Yoli was wonderful . We really enjoyed our time. Will definitely come back. We only had drinks but they also served food. they also have charge outlets at the bar!

My family enjoyed our meal. The Mac and cheese was top tier!

Make the stop and see Yolanda at the bar. Not only will see you serve you an amazing drink, but she can tell you the history of it. Yolanda will add value to your experience in your dining.Now, let's talk about the food! Amazing and so good. The chef's are amazing and only put out quality.This place is a must. Bring your friends and come here.

Stopped in for happy hour. Our waitress was very nice. Had a glass of prosecco, sliders, olives, grilled cheese. Everything was tasty and it's a cool space, love the brick painting and looking out onto Michigan Ave. Will return.

Good food and great atmosphere. Their version of happy hour has decent prices. It's a good decent place to go especially if you are staying at the Arlo hotel. Servers and bartender were attentive.

The Arlo is a beautiful hotel in a great location. We ate at the hotel restaurant, About Last Knife. What an awesome experience! Food and drinks were fabulous, as was our service. Lizeth, our waitress, was wonderful, as was the manager, Billy. They were both so friendly and took such great care of us. We can’t wait to come back!

Stopped by About Last Knife the other night, and man, what a treat! Their ALK Burger, priced at 26, was a flavor bomb with house-ground beef, sautéed mushrooms, fried onion, white cheddar, pickles, and a side of crispy fries. Paired it with their roasted Brussels sprouts for 14, tossed in a sweet chili sauce that had me licking the plate. The vibe inside is sleek yet cozy, making it a great spot to chill after a long day. With a couple of local draft beers, my tab came to around 60, and it was worth every penny. If you're around Michigan Avenue and craving some top-notch grub, this place is a must-visit.
